Thomastik-Infeld JS111 JazzSwing Flatwound Strings
If you're serious about jazz, you probably already know about Thomastik-Infeld strings. Professionals swear by them because they've been engineered to create THE sound they're looking for. Their traditional Jazz Swing series (flatwound) start with precision-made round core of high-carbon steel. Other brands use hex cores for simplified manufacturing, but T-I found that a true round core vibrates more freely with no preferred motion axis.
